Katie was born on April 23,1998 in Port St. Lucie Florida,
She arrived by C-section, scheduled for this date due to cervical problems with Mom, And we all waited anxiously for The Planned Event. She weighed 8lbs. 2oz. and was 21 inches long.She had blond hair and Beautiful Blue Eyes.
We Named Her Katherine Jeanette
(After her Moms Grandmother And Her Dads Mother),
And we all called her "Katie ~ Jean".
At home her room was already waiting for her, The walls were custom cotton candy pink trimmed with white lattice along the bottom sideways to give the appearance of a white picket fence. The "fence" was decorated with vines and little birds and butterflies.
Everything was perfect, Our family was complete...
Mommy, Daddy, Sarah and Katie.
Katie loved Barney, Teletubbies and the movie "The Lion King".
She would sit in her toddler rocking horse and sing all the songs.
Katie ~ Jean was also VERY MUCH a Little Girl At 2,
She loved playing with high heels, make-up and would stick out her toes to be painted (if I were painting mine).
She was worldly with food and liked everything,
She would Not even eat her taco without "sour Cream"!!
Katie was funny(she was sleepwalking when she dropped all those things in the toilet,ate cat food and went into the garbage!),
She was friendly (she loved everyone,and she would talk to everyone too),
She was so very smart and a joy to be with for all of us.
We all love and miss her so very much.

Easter 2000 Landed on Katies Birthday that year.
Katie turned 2 years old on Easter Sunday, So We Joyously had both to celebrate.
Katie's Sister Sarah Loved being a "big sister" and was alway so tolerant with Katie raiding her room (for things to play with)
Or climbing on Sarah's bunk bed (Katie loved playing on those bunk beds),
Katie Loved her sister Sarah so much and love playing around her.
