My Heart No Longer Belongs To Me

I Buried It With My Child, You See.

I Smile At You

So You'll Think I'm Okay,

But My Heart Is On An Endless Search

A Million Miles Away.

On TV, In Stores,

Everywhere I Turn,

Is The Beautiful Face Of A Child,

And My Heart Begins To Burn.

I Wake Each Morning

Again To Face The Dawn,

And Remember Everyday

That My Child Is Gone.

I Struggle To Focus.

Tears Bring Release.

I Search For A Purpose,

A Meaning,

Some Peace.

My Heart No Longer Belongs To Me,

My Child You See...

Bless Them With Ears To Hear And Hearts That Care,

Enable Them To Listen While I Share.

Shelter Them Dear Lord,

That My Child's Death Was Not In Vain.
